The peace and tranquility that seem to envelope the earth during and just after a snowfall is absolutely magical. For a short while the whole world is completely silent offering a bit of respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This was my vision as I painted this piece. The painting continues around the sides of this cradled birchwood box making it ready to hang.
