Desert Sands

This addition to my series relating to the American Southwest evokes memories of traveling from Albuquerque, New Mexico into southern Arizona where I was captivated by the shifting light and striking colors of the gorgeous desert landscape.  The dark edges of this painting continue around the 1.5″ sides of the gallery-wrapped canvas making it ready to hang.
