While my beloved San Francisco Bay Area was being battered by torrential rainstorms for months on end, I longed for the return of sunny days. Bleak and dreary had become the norm but for a few precious days, the dark clouds cleared and the glorious sun showed her beautiful face once again. This painting was inspired by those gorgeous days we experienced between winter storms. The painting continues around the 1.5″ sides of this gallery-wrapped canvas making it ready to hang.
