An energetic abstraction on wood panel.  Painting on wood frees me to etch the surface, giving it textural details that cannot easily be reproduced on canvas.  This painting was recently chosen as the cover of the book “Gendered Lives: Communication, Gender & Culture”, by Julia T. Wood.
