36″ x 36″ Mixed Media on Canvas

As I painted this canvas, I envisioned gemstones of sapphire, opal and onyx. When a patron saw this work in progress, his interpretation was of a satellite view of our blue planet. This piece continues to spark discussion, as things aren’t always as they seem.
